“But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. Jesus said: Come!” Matthew 14:27-29
Hearing the good news can indeed be described as cold water to a weary soul.
Do you remember how it was for you to hear this wonderful news for the first time? Or the first time it hit home?
“When the master of the feast had tasted
the water that was made wine,
and did not know where it came from
(but the servants who had drawn the water knew),
the master of the feast called the bridegroom.”
John 2:9 NKJV
Servants get first-hand experiences.
They are in the midst of the miracle!
It’s a privilege and honor – and exciting to serve in the House
and be part of what the Lord is doing.
