Jesus Followed Him

I was so touched when I read this:

When I See Your Face

It’s quite amazing, isn’t it, how our kids are so much like us – in both looks and personality. And this is how God designed it to be. The parent and child look at each other and find resemblance and assurance: I am like you. You are mine. We belong together. (I’ve heard that every child supposedly looks like daddy when he/she is are born. This assures daddy: This kid is surely mine.)

Righteous Because

“But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,”‭‭Romans‬ ‭4:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“… boldly declare, “I am not righteous because of what I have done or not done. I am righteous only because of the blood and finished work of Jesus at the cross!” Joseph Prince

Always Forgiven

1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”

In the original Greek text, the tense for the word “cleanses” denotes a present continuous action. This means that once you are a believer, the blood of Jesus Christ keeps on cleansing you from every sin!

Grace Big Time!

Peter and John were on their way to the Temple to pray. A lame man was begging for alms at the Temple gate, and Peter declared to the lame man:

“Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” (Acts 3:6)

Cast Your Cares Upon Him – Both The Big And The Small

This is a quote from today’s devo.
May we be both bold and humble to involve the Lord in our small and big issues.

Luke 12:6–7
“Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. 7But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”

When I read the devo, I didn’t think much about it at first. I’m familiar with God caring about our big and our small. I just thought that it was a good reminder.

But then throughout the day, these words kept popping up. I realised that I wasn’t involving the Lord in a lot of my “small stuff”. I discovered that I was carrying the burden on my own. I was unconsciously weighed down. That’s when I decided to bring these things to the Lord, and get His perspective. It was so refreshing and liberating.

Thank you, Daddy God!
